Mission: The Summer Opportunities Committee's goal is to help connect students to summer internships, jobs, and volunteer opportunities to fulfill community service requirements, gain job experience, and explore career paths.

Great Falls Elementary School PTA is looking for volunteers (earn service hours) to help out at the Fall Festival this Saturday October 26, 2024 from 12 to 4pm. Sign-up here
MCC Youth Ambassador Program is seeking Youth Ambassadors. High school students in 9th-12th grade, who live in Dranesville Small District 1A and attend McLean or Langley High Schools are invited to apply to become MCC Youth Ambassadors. Applications are due October 31st, 2024. Apply here.
Volunteer Fairfax is hosting a Volunteer Fest on November 1st, 2024 from 9am to 2pm at The PARC at Tysons. Swing by to explore the various volunteer opportunities, enjoy music, food trucks, art exhibit and games. Sign-up here.

St. Francis Fall Marketplace is looking for volunteers (ages 14+) to assist with parking, set up and clean up, carry items for customers, and assisting the Difficult Run Jazz Band and the adult volunteers at the bake sale, rummage sale, hot dog grill. Kids Give Back is a nonprofit organization in Northern Virginia that provides volunteer opportunities for kids ages 6-12. Our half-day Summer Volunteer Camp engages kids in meaningful and fun volunteer service that makes a difference in our community.
